If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.
— Lilla Watson & Aboriginal Rights activists, Queensland

You’re in the right place.

Where my strengths meet your needs, there is an opportunity to do this work better.

I began consulting to find more innovative ways of advancing rights-based social change. I think outside the traditional non-profit/NGO box, but I understand how that box is built, its limitations and opportunities.

I’ve been where you are, and I understand.

From rural Togo 20 years ago to bustling Cape Town today, I’ve lived in 7 countries and worked for human rights, humanitarian and development organizations in dozens more.

That’s why I believe in the importance of building links between individuals and groups working on social change. I also believe strong systems are as important as solid strategy, so I’m just as good at procedures as I am analysis.

I know I can trust Chantal to ‘get it’ right away. She immediately understands the nuances of what we need, sometimes even more than we do ourselves.
— Molly C., Regional Director, Latin America and the Caribbean at Heartland Alliance International

Chantal has a unique capacity to do both operational and technical work equally well, and an ability to maneuver in different thematic contexts. We can ask her to do pretty much anything and we know she’ll get it done.
